Filip Pyl graduated as an occupational and physical therapist from Ghent University. Even during his studies, he was deeply fascinated by respiratory mechanics in both pulmonary patients and (elite) athletes. Thanks to his work at the University Hospital of Ghent and his collaboration with Ghent University, he has developed a strong expertise in respiratory mechanics.
In recent years, he has further specialized in dysfunctional breathing patterns and their impact on health and athletic performance. Since completing his training as a sophrologist, he has explored the fascinating connection between mental capacities, breathing, and physical performance.
